Built in 1909, the Palace Theatre still continues to thrive in the heart of downtown Canadian. The theatre, purchased by Salem and Ruth Ann Abraham in 1997, was restored in 1998. Entertaining thousands of guests every year, the 289 seat auditorium welcomes everyone with 4k 3D cinema and THX certification.
Along with Hollywood releases, the Palace also accommodates companies, church organizations and local and regional school districts for gatherings and special events. The Palace broadcasts live state sporting events featuring the Canadian Wildcats as well as free movies sponsored by businesses and non-profits.
